Serbian Alphabets Free Printables

You introduced both Serbian Alphabets to your kiddos. Are you up for fun activities to help them revise the Serbian Cyrillic and Latin Alphabet?

Young kids don’t like to sit still. It would be best if you had loads of quick, simple, and fun activities to grab their attention. Don’t worry! I know you supermoms already have many things on your to-do list! I feel you! Today I want to share three activities for your little learners, and they are free, too.

FREE Serbian Latin Alphabet Board game to practice letter recognition

It’s no secret kids love games. Play and learn. Sounds great. Right?

This activity is super easy to set up.

Gather your materials: a free Serbian Latin Alphabet board game printable, Serbian Cyrillic Alphabet recording sheets, scissors, dice, some playing pieces, a plastic bowl, and bingo markers.

Start by printing the board game and laying it on the floor. Place the playing pieces at the start. Grab the scissors to cut out the recording sheet for each player. Next, put the bingo markers in the plastic bowl. You can use colorful buttons if you don’t have the bingo markers.

Now, it’s time to have some fun! The rules are simple. Kiddos take turns rolling a die and moving the playing pieces along the board. Let your child sound out the letter of the Serbian Latin Alphabet they land on. Next, they must grab their recording sheet and one bingo marker and place it on the matching letter of the Serbian Cyrillic Alphabet. The winner is the kid who gets to the end first.

Serbian Alphabets Domino Game

Print, play, and learn the Serbian Alphabets

Start by printing the domino game. Use scissors to cut out the domino pieces. Place the starting domino on the floor. Divide the domino pieces among the kiddos. Have your children match Serbian Cyrillic and Serbian Latin letters. If players don’t have the domino piece, they skip a turn. The lucky kiddo who uses all of the dominos is a winner.

Serbian Alphabet in Two-Syllable Words

Do you want to practice sounding out the Serbian alphabet in two-syllable words? We all know how learning a new alphabet can give you a headache, especially if that Alphabet is Cyrillic. However, it doesn’t have to be difficult or boring! I have prepared 15 printables for you that will make learning the alphabet in two-syllable words fun and easy with stickers and shape punchers.

I love shape punchers. Don’t you? You need self-adhesive colored paper and shape punchers to make your colorful stickers.

I usually make my stickers in advance and store them in plastic containers.

Activity#1 Let’s practice sounding out the Serbian alphabet

Do you wish your kids to practice sounding out the Serbian alphabet? This activity is perfect for practicing Serbian Cyrillic Alphabet letter recognition.

You will need:

  • initial Serbian sounds printable
  • a shape puncher ( I used a butterfly shape)
  • colored self-adhesive paper

This Serbian alphabet activity is super easy to set up:

  1. Grab your shape puncher and colored paper, and make a lot of stickers. I used a butterfly shape as I wanted to make spring literacy activities for kids
  2. Group the stickers by color and store them in containers
  3. Take the initial Serbian sounds printable and place one sticker below each Serbian Cyrillic Alphabet letter
  4. Use different stickers for each sound
  5.  Your kid sounds out the first letter, names the picture that starts with that letter, peels off the stickers, and places them on those pictures.

Activity#2 Reading Serbian syllables using stickers

You will need:

  • stickers
  • Serbian syllables printable

How to set up:

Print out Serbian syllables pdf and grab containers. At the top of each printable, there is a grid with syllables. Choose stickers and place them below the syllables.

Kids read the syllable, look at the images, find the missing syllable and complete the word. Now comes the fun part, pasting the stickers on the corresponding syllable.

Activity#3 Reading two syllable words– FREE printables

You will need:

  • stickers
  • Serbian two-syllable words printable

Let’s set it up:

Have your kids choose four different stickers. At the top of the printable, there is a grid with pictures. They must peel off the stickers and place one sticker under each image.

Your child must find the matching word, read it aloud, and place the correct sticker on it.

Activity#4 Reading Serbian two-syllable words board game

Kids who hate doing worksheets will love this free board game.

How to play:

Kids take turns rolling a die and moving their counters. They must slowly read the word they land on, dividing it into syllables. You will notice that the first syllable is red, and the second is blue.

The winner gets to the end first.
