Are you looking for an easy way to help your kids master the Serbian Accusative Case?
You introduced the Serbian Accusative Case to your kids. Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you need simple materials to practice Accusative Case in Serbian? Take a deep breath! I have created three fun, free, and super easy-to-set-up activities your kids will love!
A simple bottle cap activity to revise the Serbian Accusative Case
I love using bottle caps to create hands-on activities. Why? Because they can turn even a boring grammar lesson into a fun activity.
You will need:
bottle caps
Accusative bottle caps printables
scissors
glue
This activity is quick and easy to set up
You can start by printing the bottle caps printable. Use scissors to cut out the nouns. Place nouns in the Nominative on the tops of the bottle caps, flip the bottle caps, and glue nouns in the Accusative Case.
Lay down the bottle caps in front of your child, nouns in the Nominative facing up. Let your child pick one bottle cap, read the noun in the Nominative, and put the same noun in the Accusative Case.
I love how you can have your child work independently and self-check by looking at the bottle caps inside.
If you have competitive kiddos, you can quickly turn this activity into a competition. Just grab a piece of paper, and write down your kids’ names and correct answers. Let the fun begin!
Encourage your kids to revise Accusative Case using a board game
Learning Serbian grammar isn’t easy, especially if your students are kids. Using a board game is a great way to practice grammar. Keep it as fun as possible; your kids will be eager to learn.
Are you ready to set up this simple board game?
Gather your materials. Print one board game, grab a die, counters, and colored pencils.
Kids take turns rolling a dice and placing counters in the correct place. Ask your kids to read the noun they land on and put it in the Accusative Case.
If they land on a blue circle, they move the counters one space ahead, and if landing on a red circle, they must move one space back.
The winner is the kiddo who gets to the end first.
Roll a dice, play, and learn Serbian
The way children learn best is through play. If you are looking for an activity to get your kids excited about learning Serbian grammar, I have a perfect activity for you!
This activity is super easy to make
Gather your supplies. Start by printing. Roll a die sheet, a recording sheet for each kid, glue, and pencils.
Use scissors to cut out the die and glue to assemble it.
Kids roll a dice, look at the image they just rolled, name the picture, and put the noun in the Accusative Case by writing the missing letter on their recording sheet.
The player who fills up one column first is the lucky winner!
Your kids will be so excited about rolling a dice that it will not feel like learning.
