Here’s how to set up this board game.
Gather your materials. You will need a board game, dice 1, 2, recording sheet printables, colored pencils, glue, scissors, and some playing pieces.
You can start by printing the board game. Place the playing pieces at the start.
Now, it’s time to print dice 1 and 2 and assemble them. Grab the scissors and cut out dice 1. Use glue to put it together. Cut out dice two and assemble it, too.
Let’s play and learn Serbian Past Tense.
Lay out the board game in front of your kiddos. Each child gets one recording sheet and colored pencils. Once you set up everything is time to have some fun. It’s game time.
Kids roll dice 1 and move their playing pieces along the board. Now, it’s time to roll dice 2. Let your child read the verb they landed on and the pronoun (ON/ ONA) they’ve just rolled.
Next, they grab colored pencils, look for the same pronoun on their recording sheet, read On/Ona je, and color the correct past adjectival participle.
This game is a fantastic way to practice Serbian Past Tense for the third person singular and a great way to learn Serbian grammar by doing.

Have your kiddo roll a die, look at the image, name the correct pronoun the picture represents (ON/ ONA), say On/Ona je, and color the correct past adjectival participle.

Please, explain to your little learners how the Serbian Locative Case is formed before you start this activity.
Grab your supplies: large bottle caps, bottle caps printables, scissors, and glue.
Let’s set it up, get your kids moving and learn Locative Case
Start by printing the bottle caps printable. Grab the scissors to cut the nouns. Use glue to place the nouns in Nominative on the tops of the bottle caps. Now, flip the bottle caps over and glue the nouns in the Locative Case.
Place the bottle caps on the table or floor, with nouns in Nominative facing up. Ask your kiddo to take one bottle cap, read the noun aloud, and put the noun in the Locative case.
What’s the best part? Kids can use this activity independently. They flip the bottle cap and check the answer. Awesome? Right?
How to use Locative Case in sentences FREE printables
I love creating hands-on activities for learning the Serbian language. I think the best way for your kiddos to learn is by doing. There is much more to learning Serbian grammar than filling out worksheets. I am happy when I can turn a boring worksheet into a fun activity.
Gather your supplies. Question cards and bottle caps sentences printables. Large bottle caps, scissors, glue, and four bowls.
Setting up this activity is super easy
You can start by printing out question cards and bottle cap printables. Use scissors to cut out the cards along the dotted line.
Now, it’s time to DIY bottle cap sentences. Grab the scissors and cut out the printable, and use glue to place the words on the tops of the bottle caps. Arrange the bottle caps in the bowl. Nouns go in the first bowl, the verb to be (je) in the second bowl, prepositions (u,na) in the third bowl, and nouns in Locative in the last bowl.
Place the bowls in front of your child. Put all question cards in one pile and lay them out in front of your kiddo.
Have your child pick one card and read the question aloud. Now, it’s time to use the correct bottle caps and build a sentence. Let your child choose the proper noun in Nominative, the verb to be ( je), the correct preposition( u, na), and the noun in Locative Case.

How to use bottlecaps to learn Serbian days of the week?
Reading my previous posts, you will notice that I use bottlecaps often. I am a huge fan of bottlecaps. The possibilities for using bottlecaps are endless. You could use them to teach kids to spell their first Serbian words, build Serbian vocabulary, learn basic grammar rules, and more.
Kids love to learn by doing. They move and touch objects and learn as they do so.

This activity is crazy easy to set up
Start by printing the pdf. Grab the scissors and cut out the days. Use glue to place days of the week in Serbian (blue) on the tops of the bottlecaps and days of the week in English on the bottlecaps’ insides.
Here are 2 simple ways to use bottlecaps to learn days of the week in the Serbian language
Activity#1
Place the bottlecaps in a plastic bowl. Your kid must arrange Serbian days in the correct order. If your child is struggling, you should step in and help them out. Over time, your kiddos will become more confident and be able to use this activity independently.
Activity#2
Lay down the bottlecaps on the floor, days in Serbian facing up. Now, arrange the days of the week in the correct order. Now, pop a few bottlecaps in a bowl. Invite your kiddos and have them find the missing days.
