Would you like to motivate your reluctant kiddos to practice Serbian Tenses? Keeping kids interested while learning, especially Serbian grammar, can be challenging. If you are looking for activities that don’t involve using worksheets, you are in the right place. I prepared three fun, quick, hands-on activities perfect for busy parents, teachers, and homeschoolers.

How to learn Serbian Tenses through play?

Kids enjoy playing games, so why not use a board game to revise Serbian Present, Past, and Future Tense? Today I am sharing a fun game to get your kids excited about learning.

Please, explain to your children how to form Serbian Present, Past, and Future tenses before they start playing.

Have your kids roll dice 1, place the playing piece on the correct image, name the correct verb the image represents, and read the Tense. Let your kiddos roll dice 2 and read the pronoun they just rolled. Your child must grab a pencil, and a recording sheet, find the same pronoun as on the dice, and color the verb in the correct Tense.

If they land on a blue circle, they can go one space ahead; if they land on a red circle, they must go back one space. The winner is a player who gets to the end of the board game first.

simple bottle cap activity to help you learn Serbian Tenses

You can start by printing Serbian Tenses cards and bottle caps sheets. Use scissors to cut out the cards and bottle caps printables. Grab glue and place nouns and verbs on the tops of the bottle caps. Put the cards on the pile. Grab the bowls and arrange the bottle caps. The nouns go in the first bowl, and verbs in the second bowl.

Let your child choose one card, read the name, and find the bottle cap with the same name. Have your kiddos read the adverb of time, Tense, look at the image, and find the bottle cap with the verb the image represents in the correct Tense.

What I love about this activity is that kids practice Serbian Tenses without being overwhelmed.

How to help your children reinforce what they have already learned?
